Artist's Comments
This piece is shaped by hammer and hand from 16ga stainless steel. All seams have been welded with a very special process known as purge welding in an argon gas atmosphere for maximum strength and purity. After welding and shaping, the helm was polished by hand to a flawless mirror finish and the flamed look was applied with a special technique for contrast.
This one of a kind helm also includes custom fitted, perfectly balanced leather head gear. As well this majestic piece can be purchased with a granite display stand crafted exclusively for this helm for an additional $125.00.
